The hacker collective KnightSec initiated an attack, dubbed Operation Roll Red Roll (#OpRollRedRoll), on an Ohio High School Football Team’s fan website after the alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old girl by the team’s players. Nerdo, known in the real world as Christopher Weatherhead, a 22 year old male, studying at Nottingham University, was busted earlier this year for allegedly taking part in the Denial of Service (DDOS) attack on PayPal that he allegedly conducted as part of the Anonymous Op, “Operation Payback”. Yesterday was a fail day for mainstream media and the blogosphere. It was widely reported that Anonymous had hacked thousands of account details from PayPal, instantly slamming the organisation with a reputational hit. Who wants to send money through an organisation that can’t keep your details secure? Supposedly the details were leaked as part of the Anonymous “Operation November 5th” that was being reported on Twitter under the hash tag #OpNov5. A French firm has taken a swipe at Anonymous by applying for a trademark on everything unique about the hacking group. Early Flicker has registered the Anonymous headless man backed by a globe image and the Anonymous slogan “Anonymous, We are Legion, We do not forgive, We do not forget, Expect us”, with the National Institute of Industrial Property in France. Users of popular file sharing service Dropbox are reporting an influx of spam, practically their European based users. The Dropbox user forum has seen an increasing number of postings since Monday indicating users are receiving Spam to their dedicated Dropbox email addresses. The Dropbox response has been to hire outside experts to investigate the source of the spam and the possible breach of data. Currently there are over 200 posts from users about the spam on the Dropbox forum where users have reported receiving over 40 emails since the weekend,... 

The FBI arrested 24 hackers from across the globe, including the leader and members of the global hacking group UGNazi on Tuesday. The people arrested were all men and ranged from 18 to 25-years old Hackers from the US, Norway, Australia, Japan, Italy and the UK were included in the massive operation.
