Apple: “We are sorry” No seriously we are, stop laughing.

After losing their appeal to a previously lost judgement, Apple have had to publish an apology, of sorts, to Samsung for saying they had stole their ideas, specifically they are required to publish the lost judgement on their front page.

You can read the full “apology” here, in a page that is completely lacking of Apple logos or Apple branding. If you just stumbled upon the page you would have no idea that you were on the Apple site, until you checked the URL.

The link to the details of judgement is down the very bottom of the UK Apple front page, and they UK Apple front page only, not visible on the other country specific front pages. It has the words “Samsung/Apple UK Judgement” linking to the statement.

The statement starts by ssying that the Galaxy Tablets do not infringe Apple’s registered design No. 0000181607-0001 and has a link to the official court judgement.

Read it here: Samsung beats Apple

Apple continues by quoting the judgment, specifically pointing out how “not cool” the Galaxy tablet is compared to the Apple products. Now that’s what I would have done.

However they close by also pointing out that a German court found that Samsung had engaged in unfair competition by copying the iPad design and a U.S. jury also found Samsung guilty of infringing on Apple’s design and utility patents.

Oh no they didn’t! Oh yes they did! Consider yourself bitched slapped back in to your place UK courts.

And below is Apple being Bitch slapped.
